Copycat Oreo Blizzard (Dairy Queen style)
American flavors, weeknight effort. Nonfat greek yogurt meets vanilla whey protein powder in a 15-minute snack worth keeping in rotation. At 300 calories and 26g protein per serving, it fits easily into a high-protein day. It scales cleanly if you are cooking for more than one.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 scoop Vanilla whey protein powder
- 1/4 cup Low-fat milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp Granulated sweetener (monk fruit or sugar)
- 6 Chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreo), crushed
- 1 cup Ice cubes
Steps
- Freeze the Greek yogurt in an ice-cube tray for at least 2 hours — frozen yogurt cubes are what give this the dense, spoon-standing Blizzard body.
- Blend the frozen yogurt cubes, protein powder, milk, vanilla, and sweetener on high, tamping down, until it turns thick and glossy with no icy chunks.
- If it blends too soft, park it in the freezer for 15 minutes; a real Blizzard holds its shape when the cup flips.
- Fold in the crushed cookies by hand — the machine would turn them to dust, and you want rubble, not dust.
- Spoon into two small cups, shower extra crumbs over the top, and yes, do the upside-down flip test before serving.
