Copycat Classic Cinnamon Roll (Cinnabon’s style)
This is the kind of American snack you’ll make on repeat — self-rising flour and vanilla protein powder, 50 minutes, big payoff. It is weeknight cooking that still hits your targets — 24 grams of protein per serving. No specialty equipment and nothing hard to find at a regular grocery store.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup Vanilla protein powder
- 1 1/4 cups Plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Light butter, softened
- 1/4 cup Monk fruit brown sweetener
- 2 tbsp Ground cinnamon
- 4 oz Light cream cheese
- 1/3 cup Powdered monk fruit
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375°F and line an 8-inch round pan with parchment.
- Mix the flour, protein powder, yogurt, and egg into a soft dough — it should feel tacky but release from your hands.
- Roll the dough into a 12-by-9-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread with the softened butter, then blanket it edge to edge with the brown sweetener and cinnamon; bare spots are where the roll turns bland.
- Roll up tightly from the long side and slice into 4 rolls with unflavored dental floss for clean, unsquashed spirals.
- Bake 18 to 20 minutes until puffed and lightly golden on top.
- Beat the cream cheese, powdered monk fruit, and vanilla until silky and frost the rolls while warm so it melts into every layer.
