Ingredients
- 12 spears Asparagus
- 6 slices Prosciutto
- 1 tsp Olive oil
- 1/2 Lemon
Steps
- Heat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Snap off the woody ends of each asparagus spear. Bend one gently and it breaks naturally at exactly the right spot.
- Pat the spears completely dry with paper towels. Moisture keeps the prosciutto from crisping.
- Cut each prosciutto slice in half lengthwise. Wrap one half-slice in a spiral around two asparagus spears.
- Arrange the bundles seam-side down on the sheet with space between them.
- Roast 10 to 12 minutes, until the prosciutto is crisp at the edges and the asparagus is tender-crisp. It should still have bite, not flop over.
- Grate fresh lemon zest over the hot bundles and serve immediately.
