Ingredients
- 2 Apples
- 12 Wonton wrappers
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Coconut sugar
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Peel, core, and dice the apples into small 1/4-inch pieces so they cook through in the short baking time.
- Toss the diced apple with the cinnamon, coconut sugar, and a squeeze of lemon juice to keep them bright.
- Lay out the wonton wrappers and place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each. Don{Q}t overfill or they won{Q}t seal.
- Moisten two adjacent edges of each wrapper with water, fold into triangles, and press firmly to seal out air pockets, which make them puff unevenly.
- Bake 14 to 16 minutes, until puffed, golden, and crisp at the edges.
- Cool 5 minutes, the filling is very hot, then dust with a little extra cinnamon sugar if you like.
