Ingredients
- 1 lb Mochiko flour
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 cup Coconut milk
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 4 drops Food coloring
Steps
- Whisk everything smooth, tinting pink or leaving snowy white — both are traditional.
- Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes until set and the edges pull away.
- Cool completely, then cut into small squares and dust lightly with mochiko or coconut.
- Chewy, coconutty, and dangerously poppable; Girls' Day would approve.
- Dust with a little extra mochiko so the pieces do not stick together in the container.
