Ingredients
- 6 Cherry tomatoes
- 3 oz Mozzarella pearls
- 6 leaves Basil
- 1 tsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Balsamic glaze
Steps
- Pick 6 cherry tomatoes roughly the same size so every skewer looks tidy.
- Rinse and pat dry the tomatoes, 6 basil leaves, and 3 oz mozzarella pearls. Wet tomatoes make the drizzle slide right off.
- On each of 6 short skewers or toothpicks, thread one tomato, one basil leaf folded in half, and one mozzarella pearl. Repeat the pattern if there is room.
- Arrange the skewers on a plate with a little space between them so the drizzle reaches each one.
- Drizzle with 1 tsp olive oil, then 1 tsp balsamic glaze in a thin zigzag. A little glaze goes a long way, so go light.
- Sprinkle with a pinch of flaky salt if you have it and serve chilled or at room temperature.
