Citrus Yogurt Bowl

A breakfast built around greek yogurt and orange — on the table in 10 minutes. It is weeknight cooking that still hits your targets — 30 grams of protein per serving. Leftovers keep well, so it doubles as next-day lunch without any extra work.

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Set out a wide, shallow bowl — a pasta bowl works better than a cereal bowl because it gives you room to arrange the toppings.
  2. Spoon 1 cup of Greek yogurt into the bowl and smooth the top with the back of the spoon.
  3. Cut the orange: slice off the top and bottom, stand it upright, and cut downward to remove the peel and white pith in strips. Then cut between the membranes to release clean segments.
  4. Arrange the orange segments over the yogurt in a single layer so every spoonful gets fruit.
  5. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of granola and 1 teaspoon of chia seeds evenly over the top — the chia will soften slightly as it sits.
  6. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey back and forth over everything and serve right away, while the granola is still crunchy.
