Ingredients
- 1 cup Edamame
- 1 cup Brown rice
- 1/2 cup Shredded carrots
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1 tbsp Tamari
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds
Steps
- Cook the brown rice — start it first since it takes 40–45 minutes.
- Steam or boil the edamame 4–5 minutes until bright green and tender.
- Julienne or shred the carrots into thin sticks.
- Slice the avocado just before assembling so it doesn't brown.
- Build the bowl: rice, then neat piles of edamame, carrots, and avocado.
- Drizzle with tamari and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Toss at the table so the tamari coats everything.
