Ingredients
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 Avocado
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 pinch Sea salt
- 1 pinch Chili flakes
Steps
- Slice 1 cucumber into 12 thick rounds, about 1/2 inch each. Thicker rounds stay sturdy under the avocado and do not flop.
- Arrange the rounds on a plate and pat the tops dry so the avocado sits still.
- Halve 1 avocado, remove the pit by tapping it with the knife edge and twisting, and scoop out the flesh.
- Slice the avocado flesh into 12 wedges and lay one wedge on each cucumber round.
- Sprinkle the avocado with 1 tsp lemon juice right away -- acid on avocado keeps it from browning.
- Finish with a pinch of sea salt and a pinch of chili flakes, and serve immediately while the avocado is fresh and green.
